I finally have the 6.2 mounted on the engine stand.I put some deep creep penetrating fluid upon the machined surfaces to prevent corrosion,etc.I’m pretty sure I have the outer stud kit for the mains purchased but will have to go back through my parts stash and see if it’s there…lol.Assembly...
This morning the acdelco universal solenoid switch I purchased arrived.I plan to use this for extra preglow time to heat up the Bosch 80034 glow plugs in case it’s needed.I’ll just use it in conjunction with the factory 6.2 diesel controller that I have in place.I always used acdelco 8G fast...

Yes it’s definitely time to get this underway.The 5.7 diesel in my fathers truck is pretty well wrapped up under the hood.Just a few minor things to take care of and it’s 100% in regard to that.

The first set of injectors tested perfectly with no streaming.I’m very happy with the end result.Each one popped at about 2100psi.
I bought two sets.Only tested one set so far.Will check the remaining set today.
