If I was to install the GLE computer from Heath, would my engine temps go down? If the engine is more efficient, than less heat is generated as waste, correct?

I am planning a 4000 mile trip in the next couple of weeks and am trying to justify the new computer to the misses (ie-mpg's, more power...etc).

Better take this trip to Mt. Rushmore before obama makes it illegal to make long road trips!

putting any chip in won't make your engine temps drop. best way to do that is with a cleaned up or new radiator and or lower temp thermostat. my understanding is the gle will lower your egt's while towing. Ed
