I was changing the oil when I noticed a ring hanging out of the hole in the inspection cover for the torque converter. Anyone know what that is? Its loose, I can move it around but it wont come out. I would think if it was a lock washer I could pull it out, almost looks like the end of a spring.:???:

X2 6 bolts to remove the cover and inspect it.

Part of the starter or debris that entered around the starter is my guess. Keyring debris?
 
Snap ring from starter?
Or pull string from the doll living in your engine? Pull it and see what it says.
