Hey gyes

My wipers are shaking in the intervals, and some times stopping midways. They are only running smooth in one interval and in the normal two continous speeds.
No sounds from the connection bars and everything is greased up.
Would you suggest bying a new print only, og will I be better of bying a complete package (motor and relay) ?

regards Max

I would think just a circuit board. If the motor is bad it would never run smooth I would guess. The circuit board is what usually goes bad and I don't think the motor goes bad very often.

Hi D Farmer

I would go for the circuit board, have had same problems, and it was only a bad solder on the print ( intake pins)

Yep, classic wiper pulse board problem. GM never really learned either as I just did an 04 last month with the same problem.

Hi again.
I installed a new pulse board, but the problem is still the same. Vipers vil run at the two constant speeds, but when choosing any interval, vipers wil stop midways, and maybe after a while slowly shake back to start position.

Shall I look for a new motor too do you think ? Maybe it will start to rain one day so I better be prepared ;o)

Regards Max

Did you see cracks in the solder on the old board?
Check fuses and grounds for bad connections or corrosion. Then with the board out inspect the wiper motor brushes. Next PIA thing to fail can be the wiper switch.

Just want to turn back on this one too if any others can learn from the troubleshooting.
Finally bought a remanufactured viper-motor and now vipers are running as smooth as new. It must have been inside the motor that someting was worned, making the vipers to shake and stop.

regards Max
