My son is having this problem on his '94 Suburban:

Will the dealers still do this fix? If not, how hard is it to do? We still have the '95 wreck and I can pull the parts from it. Son insists I had taken it in to get this fix done.

Can you see it now?

I don't think 94 was covered under the recall. It was weird to say the least which ones GM would cover, and which ones they didn't. If yours is out, pull the circuit board out, and go over the solders on it. Many times it is just a bad solder that causes them to quit working.

And your pic isn't working because you linked it to your yahoo email account. When I checked the redirect on it, it was sending me to your email account. you can see it because it is in your PC's cache, but we cannot without logging into your email.

It was pasted into an e-mail and I C&P'd it here. Now I photo'd it on iPhone and uploading that here. Have yet to find my photo gallery here with the new format.

Ah! es muy bueno.
Is the problem the PCB? If so it may not be worth your time dealing with the dealer. Just buy a new PCB and put it in. Been years since I bought one but what are they $30?

PCB = Printed Circuit Board?

Is it a dealer part? Can I swap the one out of the '95 wreck? Where is it located?

Seriously it's just take the cover off and hit the main connector to PCB, Printed Circuit Board, with a soldering iron or soldering gun. You may have to remove the PCB as I don't recall what side the joints are on. I had to do my 1995 and 1993 and the repair has held for four years.

Dealer will sell the entire wiper motor assy. You just need the aftermarket PCB if you don't want to solder the cracked joints.

You don't have to remove the wiper motor from the truck to do this.

Thank you all for the excellent input and sorry for the initial posting snafu. This seems like a real easy fix. First stop will be the wreck of the '95.
