LOL I replaced one the other day where the truck had stalled and they had it towed in to the shop cause it wouldn't start. Apparently some one had gotten a little rough with the WIF sensor and it was leaking so they had stuck a screw in the pet**** trying to stop the leak.
It's amazing how many people cause their own problemsound:
ouch. shoulda called merchant for his 20 something dollar wrench... or E bay has one that gets the job done for about 12 bucks. sorry to hear ya broke it.
I did break the sensor somewhat. But, it wasn't pouring out of the bottom from that.
While I was getting some more tools in the garage, my buddy was messing with the sensor (trying to figure out what it was? ound and unscrewed the cork from the bottom and forgot to tell me. We even went to the part store and he still couldn't remember he did it..After I figured it out, "Oh yea, I took that out"....
Oh well, I'm ordering a new one anyways because these things are fragile.
