New Replacement Part # For the WIF Sensor.

Here is a new part #: 97384931

:pound:

No,

I was just posting for future reference... :D

LOL I replaced one the other day where the truck had stalled and they had it towed in to the shop cause it wouldn't start. Apparently some one had gotten a little rough with the WIF sensor and it was leaking so they had stuck a screw in the pet**** trying to stop the leak.

It's amazing how many people cause their own problems:pound:

Funny how messing up a $20 part ends up costing you $300 before its all said and done.:pound:

Maybe this post jinx myself...But, I broke mine tonight trying to get it off with the wrong set of pliers...

ouch. shoulda called merchant for his 20 something dollar wrench... or E bay has one that gets the job done for about 12 bucks. sorry to hear ya broke it.

I did break the sensor somewhat. But, it wasn't pouring out of the bottom from that.

While I was getting some more tools in the garage, my buddy was messing with the sensor (trying to figure out what it was?:pound:) and unscrewed the cork from the bottom and forgot to tell me. We even went to the part store and he still couldn't remember he did it..After I figured it out, "Oh yea, I took that out"....

Oh well, I'm ordering a new one anyways because these things are fragile.

LOL. I hate it when that happens.

I bought my WIF sensor wrench from the parts store for like $8 i think. Lisle makes it i believe.
