Which way does my HD style Fan thread on ??

Maye throw this in the reference since none of us knew yesterday. It threads on normally not reverse and is near impossible to get on without pulling the upper shroud. OH Mods can you fix my typo in the title..Duhh...

One would think it would always thread so the movement / engagement would tighten the connection, not loosen it.

Kenny that the title change you wanted ? Did you ever get the old clutch separated off that pump now that you know how it mounts ?

HD or Hub not sure what it's called..As for getting it off....Picture worth 1000 words...
I had t burn it off with the torch to save the fan.
