Which Lift Pump

Rule #1 of diesel modifications, never buy a PPE lift pump it WILL fail.

Air Dog FP150 is a good pump or maybe the new Air Dog II
 
I've heard good and bad about the PPE pumps.

AirDog it is.

After the trans goes in I'll be getting in touch Jim.
 
i'm running the edlebrock which is the same as the PPE just that PPE uses viton o rings or something. mine has worked for me but I had to make the install kit. the airdog is the whole kit just bolt it on and voila instant lift pump
 
I have had both the edelbrock and the ppe and both have failed on me. I got lucky with my first edelbrock the guy I bought it from bought me a new one since it went out with in a month and a half. I am now saving up for the raptor pump that is the same pump on the airdog but it's just the pump not the filters

not quite but they are the same company
 
Is the AirDog II really worth the more money over the Raptor pumps?
 
IIRC they still offer the original Air Dog as well. And now the Air Dog II as well as the raptor.

IMO the air dog or air dog II is worth the extra money. maybe wait till the end of next year or something jeff and ill sell you mine.
 
I'll probably just go with the AirDog II in a few weeks or so, and when Jim gets me a price. :D
