Which engine oil cooler lines are supply and return?

I want to tie my FS2500 into the return line. I'll install a T with the proper fitting in the line.

I'm mounting the filter vertically in between the drivers side battery and the fan. Just to the right of the upper radiator hose and tapping into the fill neck for return.

Maybe Greg could make this T an option in his kit.

Rear is pressure side, plumbed within the block directly intersecting the main oil pump passage.

Front is return, dumping back into the oil filter adapter via a 10mm hole.

Uhh hang on is the FS2000 a "bypass" type filter ( I think it is) ??? If so you need to have it return to a zero - near zero pressure port leading back to the oil pan. You can't return it to the oil cooler return port or hose etc.

The oil is still pressurized at the oil cooler return line. The oil is pressurized everywhere between the oil pump and bearings ie in cooler, oil filter, and galleries all the way to the turbo inlet almost all at the same pressure reading.

You can feed the FS 2000 system from oil cooler return line I think if it works like other bypass systems and orificed like other bypass filters appropriately but you need to return it to oil pan which is at zero pressure.

Ooops I misread your post. Your plan is fine. I think there is another port just above the oil filter that you can use for pressure feed also. I think that is where Heath taps for oil supply.
