Where to put a bypass filter on a 95 Tahoe?

I would like to put a FS2500 or Amsoil bypass filter on our 95 Tahoe.

Any good ideas on where to mount a bypass filter on the Tahoe?

For some reason there doesn't seem to be as much room under the hood.

If I swapped some underhood parts like the Windshield washer reservior and horn and battery box with a newer vehicle, I could find room for the filter under hood.

Why put that "mess" under the hood? Find a nice spot under the body like the outside frame rail and put it there. That way a filter change dumps into the drain pan and not all over 'everything else under it'.

I don't like anything more than necessary hanging down low. That would give me 2 more lines and a filter to grab corn stalks, sun flowers or whatever with.

I've ripped off a running board before.

I can get picks of mine. I mounted mine behind the T-Case and bent my bracket so the filters are horizontal instead of verticle.

I stuck a corn stalk through my filter and crushed one going through an irrigation track over the summer and was forced to change it up. My lines are zip tied out of the way, no biggie they are pretty sturdy.

This kind of shows the bypass unit in relation to the T-Case Crossmember:

The bypass unit itself:

The bent Bracket bolted to the inner frame rail:

Sorry about the crappy cell phone pics. I had to take the pics with my phone dang near on the ground to get as much as I could in one pic. It is also slightly dirty :hihi: .

I want to stick with using a Stock number for my main filter which eliminates the Amsoil dual remote bypass housing as it is machined for a Ford filter.

Unless there is an adapter to switch from the Ford filter to a Chevy. The Chevy filters have a wider gasket area and different thread size on the nipple
I want to use the Amsoil bypass filter EABP110.
I do have a remore Chevy filter relocator here. I was told the old BMK-11 was not heavy duty enough to use a EaBP110 mounted verticaly.
This is the vehicle I'm starting on today.
Does anybody have option ideas so I can use the 2 filters I want to use?
