i just got my new heads in and i forgot to order the lube for the nut on the studds :mad2: was really hoping to get this together this weekend, summit doesnt seem to carry it like i thought but they do have another product made by manly. is this the right stuff. any one know where else i could get it?

When I got some ARP fasteners a few years back,ARP supplied Moly paste. I think that most of the auto parts stores can get/carry moly paste in small tubes. You could call ARP. They might send you out a packet, although probably not in time. Do you have any local businesses that build racing engines? They may sell you some, since most use ARP exclusively.

They do give torque values for use with other than ARP moly lube in the instructions. It says to use the higher torque with any thing else. Only the ARP lube can go the lower torque.[according to the instructions]

i got to looking at the studs and there was quite a bit of lube left on them and just to be on the safe side i put a bit of motor oil on them as well, and then i tourqed them to 120ftlbs. couldnt find the sheet that came with the studs but i remembered seeing in on here and after a short time searching around i found where you had scaned it in for another memeber
