Use the Cummins......

Ford Super Duty......No Go!

John Deer tractor......No Go!

2006 Cummins......Yeah, that'll do it....

Had to pull out this dump truck yesterday after the Super Duty FAILED, the tractor FAILED, so I said, "Lemme give 'er a shot".

Add liberal amounts of horsepower (and decent tires) and problem solved.

How big of a JD? If it was an LTR166 lawnmower that doesn't count. Lemme go find our old 4960 and I'll give that Sterling whiplash.

Nice job though, what kind of tires do you have? What's the H1 doing in the background?

No idea what JD it was.....front end loader and grader.

I'm in the military, that's one of my cargo trucks. This is on Ft Benning.

I was building a range and using that to move sandbags and RR ties.

That thing ain't got enough snot to get out of it's own way.

As for the tires on my truck, they're Pro Comp Extreme AT's, 305/65/17's.

Hell I didn't know that. Cool. I've got some friends that have been through there. I'll add you to the list of people to thank for their service.

That's a teeny weeny JD, no wonder your truck did better.

Good old home made shoot houses...And the green Ivans...I still remember the red star on the heads of those stupid things...

I don't suppose it would be kosher for me to suggest that the SuperDuty and the JD 'loosened it' for ya?

LOL. That's what I tell my wife with Pickle Jars. :D

Nice pull!!

Yeah, I don't think so.....

When the SD was hooked up, the dump was still moving backwards when his wheels were turning forwards.

The JD just didn't have enough weight and wheel speed. He just dug his tires in.
