Looking at buying one tomorrow but its two hours away and it's an older lady that I don't think will crawl under the truck for an up-close picture of the transmission. I cant seem to find a trustworthy google article that explains this. I am hoping it has the 4l80e like some videos say. Others say it's a 6l90 and to stay away from those transmissions. The truck is essentially rust free with 87k miles. If someone knows exactly what transmission is in here, please let me know! Thanks

Maybe she could give You the portion of the serial number that would tell what transmission it is.
Like My truck is an F code, IIRC, 8th digit.
Or possibly the entire SN then a dealer can look it up and tell You all the options.
