I pulled out an AC Delco today # 10154622 or 131-91. Been searching all day it seems like and can't find out what temp it is.

Wish it were that easy. As I recall I have not seen any AC Delco with the temp stamped on it.

EDIT its out of the 94 Burb

OK thanks. I slept since then.
I was hopeing it was 195*
Another question, Do the 96 single and 96&^ dual HO cooling use the same tstat?

The only single t-stat I've seen was from my 94. It was not the same as the duals I've seen. The single has a spring loaded flange on the bottom side that, when cold, closes off the by-pass to the water pump. The duals do not have that feature.

Ya I know the one you are talking about, its like the one Im asking about in post #1, BUT correct me if Im wrong. I thought the 96 had a single Tstat that looked very simular to the dual, but only two bolts to hold the housing. The bolt heads point toward the fire wall on the single also right?
Thats the one I need to know if its the same Tstat as the dual's are?

I'm guessing the 1996 single stat crossover is unique, because the accessories were all flipped but had a single stat. So the 96 single stat xover is different than 94-95 single stat xover, is different than pre-94 single stat xover.

OK quick update. After searching all over I found that the early 96 single stat is indeed different than the dual stat. Only made them for a few months in early 96 only. It is the same stat as the 92-95 its just that the housing is fliped 90* simular to the dual stat config.

Buddy, I have heard you say to run the single stat with the HO water pump. For the guys with 96&^ trucks this early 96 single would be the way to go.

I went single stat with H/O pump.

I just bought a 195 ACDELCO T-Stat on EBAY about 20 minutes ago. Going for efficency now, 180 is just too stinkin' cold..

What did ebay charge? I think I may have a good source for them from one of my suppliers. Did not know the sold Tstats too.

If you go to oehq or whatever and put it in your cart and then click on it from in the cart it actually comes up a couple bucks less, so you could load up on them for like $12 each, but of course only need 1 for each vehicle.

I looked for the cheapest price i could find shipped to my door. Typed in the part number and it came up as 9.95 buy it now. With shipping came to 16.90 total. This is for a true ACDelco 195 stat.
