What mp3 player will run off of WMP?

Hey guys,

My buddy wants an mp3 player, and wants it to run off of windows media player. I know iPOD wont, cause it requires iTunes, and I found out Zune has its own software, so that leaves walkman, RCA, etc.

So i was wondering, which ones hook directly to WMP?

Well I am not exactly what he want to do with WMP but any MP3 player will do MP3s but you have to load files manually on the player. It will show up as a extended drive. Is he wanting WMP do manage the files on the MP3 player...?

I do believe so. basically, what I tunes does with/to the iPod, he wants media player to do with/to (insert proper mp3 player)

but i will ask hime and see if he minds dragging and dropping.
