Does anyone know what it is for?

i tried in many ways but nothing change, the switch has only 2 positions (in and out)

Thanks

Haha! Welcome.
If the switch only has the one wire bringing it power and nothing coming out- the previous owner removed whatever he put it in for.

that is exactly the case, the others point in the switch are empty, that mean whatever was there is not any more, i guess i never gonna know, will see if ai need in the future for same thing else, but thanks for help, is my first diesel and i have a lot to learn here

Do yourself a big favor and read the stickies.
dont compare this Diesel engine to most others out there- this one is built differently.

220f is overheating & Never use starting fluid - those two kill a bunch of these

i just tried to learn
That's what I told myself (and the wife) when I bought mine in 2007, "I don't want a new truck, I want to learn about diesels' by working on an old one.' Know what I learned? It would have been cheaper to have bought the new truck. But, I've learned and I've met some awesome people because of it. A lot of those people are on this site too.

So Daniel, Welcome to the site.

It would have been cheaper to have bought the new truck.

Ha! Two years ago I bought a new(er) vehicle to replace the old diesel Burb as I got tired of the ongoing shop visits. Wife loved the new(er) vehicle as it was very quiet (she never did like the noise of the Burb).

Since the purchase of the new(er) vehicle, I learned that it would have been cheaper to keep and repair the Burb and am suspecting that I should have applied sound deadener to the roof instead of floor to address the noise. Also discovered that despite a rating to tow my TT RV, the new(er) vehicle was an unhealthy step backward in stability while under tow as compared to the 3/4 ton Burb.

Am now selling the new(er) vehicle as I bought an old 1 ton diesel for less than what I *still* owe on the new(er) vehicle. The old deisel needs some typical OE re-habbing to unlock power (air box, exhaust, intercooler, etc), but in a worst case scenario, these costs + purchase price will run far less than what I still owe on the new(er) vehicle. Bonus is that even with a straight-pipe exhaust, the 1 ton diesel is more quiet than the Burb from inside the cab, so I avoided the dog house :)
