what do you think of these filters?

Are the news ones OEM ones blue? All the AC delco's I have seen were white but its been a while since I bought AC Delco. Like blue means anything but Donaldson's are I think typically blue and they are good.

$20 is an ok price with free shipping.

The blue is just the cloth cover for running in dusty conditions. It's still a paper element under that. It must be the smaller size that it fits all the models listed and no mention of "K47 "air box.

I've tried those filters before. In my opinion, far far too restrictive. How did I gauge that? Well, amount of black smoke under normal operating conditions. Black smoke is indicative of unburned fuel. Since the diesel engine takes 'maximum air' with every intake stroke, it's not like a gasser where the amount of air is restricted by some kind of valve. Therefore, black smoke means less air getting into the cylinder. That's not good. Switching back to the "non HD" variant of the filter solved the problem. I would only run the HD element if I were in a really dirty dusty environment.
