I called and talked to him a little and it has 229k and it a 1/2 ton. I asked him about the pmd he said he couldn't figure out how to get it off the pump to replace. Front windshield is broke as well as the pass side mirror. Other than that he said it's pretty straight.
 
Well I went there with cash in hand and it was a pretty clean k1500 extra cab short bed. Had a toolbox behind the cab with a work strobe munted on it too. So after he had agreed to sell it to me for the $600 he was asking I started asking him aboutwhy he was selling etc. Told him I thought I could get it running pretty easy. He wanted me to fix it for him and I said no because it's too far away. Turns out he bought it from his cousin and paid $1300 for it which he still owed said he had put $1200 into it trying to get it to run. Must of paid someone something cause there was only about $500 in new parts. Anyway by the time I got done showing him all quirks/problems with the 6.5. He decided he wanted more money for it. I offered him $700 he wanted $800 (which still would have been a good deal) I reminded him that he had already agreed to sell for $600. I could see he was torn on what he should do. I felt sorry for him but I guess that's the joys of buying a used vehicle. He finally decided that if he couldn't get it running by this weekend he would call me up and sell it to me for $650. He was just a poor broke college kid so what the heck I didn't have to have it.

Guess you should put him out of his misery,, and buy the thing, Geez you could part it out and make some cash, or fix and sell and make more!
 
He posted it on Craigs list at 2:11 am this morning and at 2:42am he started a thread over at the place. user name rmac
 
ak, you're a good guy for not taking his truck with your mouth shut. But yeah, if he's confused now...
 
Well I got a phone call yesterday afternoon. Guy said if I still wanted it to come get it. So I borrowed a friends trailer and went to Anch and picked it up. Still sitting on the trailer but I'll get it unloaded today and maybe snap a couple of pics. I think I'm going to use this for my snowplow truck.
