Yesterday I hook my laptop on a 1998 K1500.

VIN RECHE.jpg

It shows a bunch of DTCs, 1 about A/C relay (I often find this one) and several about EGR.

I cleared them all (I forgot to save a snapshot  ) and re-scan for DTCs.

None show up, except the one for A/C relay.

So, I then look at live data, and found these.

I do believe that the one in red are out of specs, and the yellow one is not good, but what does that mean?

If I disconnect the baro sensor on the firewall, the EGR value goes in gren and drops down to 2. Vacuum pump is fine, EGR solenoids seem to be fine too
so:???:

Thanks for "decoding"

So that is what an AE display looks like, Never seen actual MAF flow displayed before MT2500 does not show it.

I would say your BARO-Boost-& EGR are showing PSIA averaged to 2 digits, MT2500 shows those in PSIA or kPa as selected, EGR is monitored as a function of offset to baro after first start where the baro sensor is reading vac applied to EGR PCM is looking to see a change in the vac to know EGR vac signal is being applied, which is why EGR can not be defeated by plugging the vac line like you can in OBD-Is PCM is looking for a modulation of vac pressure when EGR is called for.

Why red vs green when disconnected ??? I don't know I forget when EGR flow is supposed to be commanded I'll have a go at the manual to see if it says when EGR is to be flowing, are you unplugging at solenoid or EGR valve itself, possibly vac canister on EGR is stuck and the amount of EGR flow is off schedule PCM wants to see ???

You could reflash/disable it and be done with it :)
