What am I missing here ?

This is actually part of the "NEW GM" sales tactic. I'm pretty sure this is one of the dealers that GM is using to sell new cars in an auction format. And the 6.2L is a gas not a diesel.
 
Those glow plug wires are the best. Really dresses up the engine bay. Where can I get those for my 6.5?

6.2 gas know along with the old 6.2. Boy the some of the parts guys that were confused before will be even worse now. And I thought the 5.7 gas and 5.7 diesel confused them. :chairshot:
 
I know it wasn't like it was a slight misprint. It was in the title as well as description. Of course anybody want to venture a guess how I stumbled onto it in the first place ?? Give ya a hint...Wanna buy a Dodge ?
 
The stupidity of the people doing the ad copy for a lot of things is beyond comprehension.

We all know that GM has not offered a diesel in any SUV since the last 6.5's rooled off the line some 9 years ago (Hummer not included)

The Yukon 4 door was never outfitted with a diesel either. Too bad, it would have sold well me thinks (But I'm just a diesel nutcase)

(Yukon XL but I think that badge came after the 6.5 went away)

Sort of like that guy selling the 5 speed "ALLISON" stick shift ???????????????

Or some local fool trying to sell a turbo 400 with lockup. AHHHHHHHHH NOooooooooooo

Would be fun to get a damaged 09 thats going off an insurance salvage lot and install a real 6.2 diesel and tweek it all so it looks like factory fresh.


Then get some of those Government stickers that say "Emmision exempt" and place in a few key places under the hood.

OMG what a Hoot that would be.

Local fellow has an 08 Burb that he bought from the salvage lot. (just light sheetmetal damage but could not be sold as new)

He swapped in a DMax and then cruises over to the emission inspection station to get the cert.

Drove those dudes insane.

The underhood looks just like a Dax should (he got the parts from a wrecked Dmax truck of simlilar year)

Got his tags and some very strange looks though.

I can just hear the chit chat. "Where did that guy get that thing" ???????????? they dont make those, its not in our specs book, Awwwww S#*T Frank !!!

That truck is beautiful though... If they made a Diesel Suburban again I would buy one...

But since they are never going to I have saved up 10G's (and counting) to give mine a face lift, boob job, and a new heart. I am mostly waiting for the Canadian Dollar to go Par again in the new year to start spending.

But the Dmax is not a 6.2 and dont even look the same.

Some states may not allow swaps, not sure ???????/

Too much to retype but basically Lee's Auto Ranch in ellington CT are a bunch of thieving scumbags and just tonight I found yet another fuel leak from the IP change . Idiots didn't tighten the injector lines enough. This says it all.
I was looking for diesel Sub's or another Tahoe after I unload the lemon, Came across the Denali in a search.Problem is funds will be limited after the beating I probably take on the Dodge. Nothing wrong with Cummins/Dodge btw just want to make that clear, I got screwed by Lee's auto Ranch in ellington CT.
If anyione reads the other thread you can skip to post # 34 .
