What about these fog lights?

No way.

On a Rhino, you'll Outrun those Lights at about 20mph...in the Tahoe, you'd just barely be able to tell they are On.

They'd be good for Reverse Lights on the Rhino though.

I've got a 3 watt led flashlight and it will light up the night, so I just thought a light with multiple 5 watt leds might be enough. 20 mph, hmm, can you say lights for the John Deere 955. :smile5: I really like leds. These may also work as backup lights on my truck.

Different Reflector Optics.

Your Flashlight was made to Cast a Bright Spot, that's prob. Adjustable.

Those LED's are just Thrown in that Housing, with no R&D into Optics.

They are best Suited as a DRL Light on a Vehicle.

If you want to Look into LED Lights that are Functional for "High Speed" use, look at the VisionX stuff. I got the Solstice LED's for Reverse Lights on my Truck, and they are VERY Bright.

Mad Maxx, I think I'm going to order one those lights. What I'm going to do is make a mount that attaches easily from the Rhino's roll bar, my gun (.270 Remington for hog hunting) and the JD 955 for use at night Bushhogging. I am going to use an 18 volt battery from a cordless drill as power and have it in a fanny pack so it will be self contained and moved easily from one thing to another. Does this sound like a good idea?

18v might Blow them as soon as you Hook it up.

LED's have a Specific Operating Range of Voltage. For Example 9-14v. Anything Less than 9v, they won't Light, anything Over 14v, and they'll Blow. Anything within that Range, they'll Light, and be the same Brightness whether they are getting 9v or 14v.

Yea, that's good.

But with the ones up Top you Posted about, I'd say there's a 99% Chance they'd Blow on 18v.

My bad, I didn;t say which i was going to order. :nonod: I get ahead of myself sometimes. :mad2: I guess I expected you to read my mind. ):h

Haha, it's all good.

I was actually Considering the VisionX's and DIY'ing a Mount for them on my Bumper, but never got around to it.

Check out Soltek's also.
