Wet Drivers Floorboard Carpet -- Source? Common Issue?

With 4-6" of rain the last week then 4" of snow I have a very wet carpet under my feet. :mad2:
I have noticed it a little wet before but it dried quickly and I was not sure there was an issue. Obviously there is. The source appears to be near the parking brake pedal but I have not caught it dripping yet. Do these trucks have an issue with cowls leaking or do you think it is the windshield? Or...? Water leaking into the cabin of a vehicle is one of my biggest pet peeves! :nonod:

Yeah, the windshield is glued in and the seal can fail. Mine leaked worse if I parked front down. If your cab is pretty quiet for wind noise otherwise you might be able to test it a little by pushing on the windshield in different areas while driving on the interstate. I think body flex will continue to shear and increase the glue failure over time. After a while mine was really bad and I could push on the windshield while driving and hear all kinds of wind noise.

Its likely the window, as the drains for the cowl are huge. I pulled the plastic and dumped a 5 gallon bucket into mine, drained no issue. found an extra bolt that had been in there since new. There was hardly any crud build up.

Cool. They did SOMETHING right!

I had the windshield replaced a few weeks ago and forgot to update this. We have had a lot of rain since then and the floor wetting has stopped. Thanks for the advice guys!

That's good news!
I figured if the new windshield didn't fix it, the next step was Depends... :D
