Hi all, I have a 1995 K3500 6.5L TD with SSD water pump, dual t-stats, and extreme fan upgrade. I have had some heat issues ever since this has been in. I would like to change to the 99+ water pump with screw on clutch. I heard somewhere that I could do this however when I went to research this it says the 99+ is a reverse rotation and when I look at my water pump is says standard rotation. It really doesn't elaborate on the standard and reverse rotations. Will this pump work on my 95? Both are serpentine belts just not sure if the 95 is a reverse rotation pump? Any one do this and what was results?
Thanks

Serpentine belt pumps are reverse rotation since the serp belt spins the pump the opposite direction of the crank. V belts are standard rotation since the v-belt spins the pump the same direction as the crank.

Go with the new Bosch Pump for 99+. About half the price of the AC Delco at Rockauto.com
