What does the FRC 10 sound like? Like the factory knocking LP or like the whine of an Air Dog or something else? Just wanting to know what to expect.
 
Can't hear it over the truck running. It ticks every 5 sec or so after building pressure described above with the engine off and power applied.

Other rotary pumps are louder.

Similar to OE, but mine is a little louder.

Great description! Had I been answering this, I'd have said something like clackity-clack-clack-clackity-clack-clackity-clackity-clack-knock-clackity-knock... As long as it's doing the job, I guess it's fine, but it's nowhere near rhythmic like I imagined, nor is it a humble sound like the factory pump. If I would not have asked this question, I'd have thought I had a bad pump upon the first time it powered up because it really does sound unhealthy.
