Walbro Lift Pump Fail

Has anybody ever found source part # of the in tank "sock" gasser socks do fit but do not have the bypass check valve in the end in case cold weather "gells fuel" over gasser style screen. I kept mine as it is 70 micron protection that the 6 micron on engine would have to manage unless you also have a frame rail large capacity Racor 30 micron that I also added.

There would not be a lining unless someone coated it in the past however; there is a baffle that is held in place by push on clips washer combo they are known to pop off then drifting around the tank could occasionally get pulled to the pickup by the pulling of the lift pump and the baffle moves around too.
I’ve replaced the tanks and lines on my ‘99 and ‘94. At this age, they are done.

If yours is not flowing while failing- there is an obstruction there. Maybe something getting sucked up in the tank or line-
So I saw this old thread come back and remembered this problem that I had....... thought I would fill out the story with what it ended up being. Will got it right on the first post (took me several years to find it......) I finally realized that Will had to be right and something was getting sucked into the fuel pickup line and shutting off the fuel (I had previously removed the sock and was running an aftermarket pre- lift pump filter). It would only happen once in a blue moon but it sure was frustrating.... I finally got fed up enough with it to drop the tank...... and found that the baffle was designed to be held in place by these ~ 1 inch in diameter round rubber washers that pushed down over barbed studs to hold the plastic baffle to the bottom of the tank. About three or four of these had come loose and were floating around in the tank and would occasionally get stuck to the fuel pickup (since I had removed the sock that would totally shut down the fuel flow) It actually created such a good seal that I would have to crack the fuel filter loose to relieve the suction and allow the rubber disk to fall back into the tank.

I had already purchased the tank because I had convinced myself that something was coming apart in the tank (I was thinking the lining was lifting up)...... I thought about returning the tank and just removing the baffle as the liner was not coming apart yet...... but then I figured it would probably start giving me trouble soon and I already had the new tank.......
