W/PCR piston

It would lower compression, and would likely work for DI with different heads?
 
Wrong photo me thinks. MAHLE was/is a piston mfr for our venerable 6.2/5. The part number 027011HAWR reflects a .010 reduced compression height slug.
 
I hope the picture is just a generic stock photo because that is a direct injected piston. IDI engines use a ricardo bowl in them to distribute the flame front whereas a direct injected engine uses a bowl since the combustion takes place in the piston instead of a pre-chamber.
