I am removing the vacuum pump on my newly purchased 95 sierra. This is a PITA. On my 99 it was a piece of cake. I was able to get 2 of the 3 bolts out but the one by the lower coolant hose is a pain. Has anyone figured out how to get it out without moving the a/c compressor out of the way? Has anyone done this without evacuating the freon? will the a/c compressor move enough without being evacuated?

I got it. It wasn't as bad a pain as I thought now that its light out. On my 98 the lines are all aluminum and wont move much. with the light of day the 95 has rubber lines. Thanks.
