Does anyone know the part number for the belt I would need. I have a 1994 vin f and don't use the vacuum pump any more so now it is just robbing power and taking up space. Plus my belt start to squeal when I turn my a/c on so it is time to replace it.

A quick scan of the parts reference sticky wasn't much help. The file blew apart on opening so no luck sifting through that either.

One poster referenced the Autozone 99.5" belt #4060995. If memory serves me (and lately it hasn't) the stock length is around 100-101 inches.

Seems the rule of thumb when deleting the Vac pump, is to drop one inch (1") off the stock measurements.

You might get way with simply wrapping a string or sewing tape measure around the pulleys with attention to where the tensioner normally sits and then measure that (you'll want an extra pair of hands for this and to hold your beer while your at it).

Not much help I know but that about all I can come up with.

Thank you Paul. That is a huge help in itself. When is the next time you will be traveling towards 29 stumps. I finally did get a good tune and the truck could use a good hot lap around town if you had more free time than your last trip.

Just did this putting smog pump back on for smog, then taking it back off. The stock belt is 101"+. The pump delete belt is like 100 5/8". You don't lose that much when deleting the pump.

Glad you tagged in on this one. I remembered later last night between you and Colby the answer could be had.

Old Belt - 1" = New Belt

I'm still working a couple of events that have their C2 out of either 29 Palms or Irwin. That and I need to get a part down to Big-T we did a swap on. My truck is back in the shop for, hopefully, the final work on the differential so I'll have to bring it with me with the parts (won't fit in the VW). Would be fun to run the trucks around town with colors flying.

I ordered the stock spec belt from RockAuto and I could not get it on. It was basically the same size as my "pump delete belt" which is quite well broken in. I had to go to Napa to get the 101".

Colby is busy working on house. Funny how a baby on the way got him real focused.

Gates # are K061000 = 100 5/8, K060990= 99 5/8, K060994 = 99 7/8. On My 97 the 100 5/8 was to long and had lots of deflection/squealing and dropped down an inch. Yours may be different than my 97, but those part #s are right from gates email.
