Used racor fuel filter

only thing i read neg about it, bowl needs changing every 10 years due to age, plastic bowl doesn't comply to inspected yacht regs. elements are cheap.

Those were put on Olds diesels by the boat load back in the day. The box style Stanadyne filter they started with sucked out loud and sideways. It was in large measure responsible for the Olds reputation for reliability. About the time the 350 diesel came out a huge load of bad fuel hit the east cost. Big trucks had little issues other than having to drain and change their filters. Olds drivers wound up at their clueless dealers. But I digress. ;)

Definitively an improvement over all but the latest 6.5 FM, maybe that too.
