This isn't a technical post so mod's if it's a problem feel free to delete it. Just thought i would update. As my signature show's i've made a few changes to my fleet. Came across a deal I couldn't pass up on the 1993 in my sig, bought it for $500 with a bad tranny but a very strong 6.5 NA GM crate motor. Sold my '83 6.2 to my friend but i still work on it and drive it just like it's mine! Also a guy came by and wanted to buy my '95 6.5 TD, so i shot him a price thinking he wouldn't do it, but he did so i let her go. Found a real nice duramax for the right price and got it to replace the '95, love the truck but refuse to not own a old oil burner! Finally slowed down enough that i should be on here more often trying to help out.

Hey Matt...

Nice to see you around...even nicer to see you in a DMAX!
We'll have none of that Dmax cheer-leading :nono: in the 6.5 section :D:D:D yes glad to see U back Matt, and Chris we'll even tolerate you stopping by even though you have crossed over to the non IDI Dark Side :D:D:D:D:D all is well with U Chris ? We miss the tales of the "Flatland-Furball".

:D Sorry TD but im enjoying the DMAX! Still have a 6.5 so i didn't totally switch sides! ):h

Well pox on all you traitors, :D ask Kenny what happens when you run afoul of the 6.5 Diesel gods by changing flavors, those that still have 6.5s at home get a pass as you have saved them from the bone yard  no 6.5 deserves that :nono: unless it has given it's life in an accident protecting it's owners, even then one has to check the 6.5 donor card 1st to see if another 6.5 can benefit from "organ harvesting" ):h

Things are good Doc...

To be honest, I miss the sound of the old hotrod compared to the DMAX. The 4" exhaust on the 6.5 was way louder than the 4" on the 6.6 with variable vane turbo....

I will be running the DMAX at the local NHRA strip in July....I'll let you guys know how it goes....
