Ubuntu 8.04 LTS

Ubuntu is nice.
I use CentOS myself.
Redhat guys since the early days. :D

To answer your question;

I installed 8.04 on an HP Pavilion DV9700 and everything works out of the box, wireless, ACPI, Nvidia, everything. The developer's did a damn fine job on this release. They owe it to us. 7.10 was buggy as all get out. Had to downgrade to 7.04 to get stability back.
