Truck went 400,000! Trying to attach a picture.

Yeah, if you tow then definatley do the trans services. But grocery getter use trucks in the fleet we never bothered servicing those trannys. No biggie to get 300,000 from them without a service, but never lost one in under 225,000.

A bunch of the gasser trucks would get 100,000 a year on them and that only got oil changes on the engine at 30,000 mile intervals. They needed fuel filters way before oil filters by testing. We would dump the truck after 3 years for a couple grand- always let the buyer know.

That's a relief to hear Will L. My truck had 140,000 when I bought it, the trans fluid looked very, very old, but no burnt smell. The pan was relatively clean and when I cut the filter open it had less than a dozen little specs -half the size of the head of a pin - on it. You know how oil always looks worse in the drain pan than it did on the dipstick? My trans fluid was black. But, it works perfectly. Hope I didn't screw it up changing the filter and fluid!

I put two coolers on mine and the fluid stays red a very long time. Same guys do it and they always take something I have in the back that I picked up at the marina for free. Water skis, outboard, etc.

I just bought several 20/50 qts marked down as adders. Still pretty clean. Added one pack of tablets to rad. Ground tumeric, ginger, almond shells.... Used in my meatloaf too.

Too funny.
Ever here of cracking a couple eggs into the radiator to stop a leak in a ln emergency? Things like pinhole in radiator ir bad seal on waterpump. I had to do it once in my hummer out in death valley area. It got us home, but a total pain to get it all cleaned out.
It definately messed with radiator efficiency.
