Hey guys, im pretty sure i know the answer to this but i want you're opinions on it first. I want to get rid of the NP241 transfer case in my truck due to future upgrades and the fact its already on borrowed time. Will a BorgWarner out of a 1 ton truck of our body style bolt right in (meaning sensors and shifter rods)?? My truck has the floor mouted shifter and has the 4l80e so it should be a bolt in swap right??

It should, the only thing is the yokes for the u joints will be bigger.

If you have a 4l80 in your tahoe then it will just bolt on the back of the trans with no issue. The shafts may or may not depending on the size u joints you have now, 1350 or 1310's.
Why swap out your 241?

You may have issues with the number of splines that are on the input shaft that goes in the tranny and the output shaft for the front drive shaft. They may not match..
