Well, you're not gonna believe this but:

I dropped in the other day to return my crapped out Concertone head unit and the dealer had just gotten in a 2011 Flagstaff Classic Super Lite 831RLBSS with the atrium slide.

Against my better judgment, I walked in to have a looky see.

Crap.

Right away I loved the atrium slide and the extra space. The larger TV, pantry, dinette with actual chairs and zx700 with ipod option was also nice. The queen bed in it's own slide out and bedroom armoire was an extra nice touch

I took the wife down to look the next day and she agreed if this had been on the lot the day we bought the "plain ol' superlite", this would have been the one we would have dealt on.

The dealer dropped in and after a long talk with the owner we headed to the finance office to see what could be done.

Long story short?

We lost a thou on the superlite and paid a couple thou less than asking price on the 831RLBSS. The owner sweetened the deal by buying down the interest rate by 1% with his option and we transferred the extended warranty (7 year hitch to bumper) over for a couple hundred. They're even coming out to pick up the trailer and haul it back to the dealership. I'll loose my two maxairr II vent covers, but a hundred bucks will buy me two more.

We bought the superlite on 4 Sep and I pick up the 2011 Flagstaff Classic Super Lite 831RLBSS later this week....

:)

ROFL ... this crap is addicting, BJ. Never take the wife with you to the RV place. Last time I took Alicia there, we were just going to buy some holding tank chemical.

While I was shopping in the parts place, she was talking to a salesman and touring a new Revolution... damn near walked (well, drove) out of there with a new DP.

Never take your eyes off her!

As long as you are both happy, that is what it is all about! Glad it worked out for you. Good luck with the new, new camper. ;)

LOL...that's how I got my diesel...took my wife down to Branson pulling the rv with the gasser. The hills had me down to first gear and screaming for mercy. Wifey got so shook up thinking we wouldn't make it she agreed to the diesel right off.
Two weeks later I had it at home...
