I need to get some traction bars in the worst way. I need a set that wont limit my articulation because i do alot of offroading. I was looking at the fabtech ones but i cant figure out if they;ll bind or not. some of the places i go i need full articulation but i also dont want nothing high maintence.

What do u guys have or recomend

I'd recommend spring clamps...whether bought from someone like all seasons diesel

or fabbed by yourself(or in this case a friend)...

Those clamps look like they might make the rear sit a hair lower and I wouldnt think the overloads would be very good at flexing.

I don't know if it fits your need but I run www.activesuspension.com and in addition to assisting to load carry it has helped my stability as well, and passive until you apply load to your truck, when I bought mine direct from roadmaster co they had a 30 warranty to return if they did not do for you as advertised.

i dont know if i really wana try those clamps they look like they might not let your leafsprings flex to much coming out of a steep ditch or something. I might give that active suspenion a try but im still also thinking about getting the fabtech traction bars, they seem to be the only ones that would work any good offroad

I got the Clamps on my Truck as well and they Work VERY Nice.

I had to Relearn how to Drive in the Rain because they Stopped the Axle from Wrapping so much. They do change the Ride, but they give it a more Positive and Solid Feel.

...I only have the Front of mine Clamped.

Me too. I have those clamps because I wanted to stop the severe axle windup/hop when I get in some deep snow. Mission accomplished. They do make for some extra wheelspin from time to time...
