Took out a mazda tribute

While heading home last night i got rearended by some dingdong in a 05 mazda tribute. I was almost at a complete stop when i see these lights shoot up from behind then BAM.He couldnt have been going to fast b/c we had just left a stop light and was only bout 80-90 yds past it.Needless to say my hitch went threw his bumber and into his radiator.It was dark and hard to see but i kno he needed a new front facia,radiator support,right headlamp,radiator and his front right fender crushed in also for some reason.the damage to my bumper is light but will need replaced.looks like i have a good reason to get a iron bull rear now.His mazda had to be towed but i kno which shop it was headed to so ill see if i can get some pics of his damage.

Don't forget to replace your hitch. Metal may have unseen fractures and you wouldn't want to have it break while towing.

Glad you were not hurt and that your truck held up good, but its a bitch when some gobber head is not paying attention (texting or on a cell phone-had head up rectum) and hits ya. Glad you had your hitch in, atleast that offers some protection and does more damage to theirs......ha...ha. KInd of like if you are stupid enough to hit my truck then you might as well expect some good damage to yours. Glad to they had to tow theirs......that atleast meant that the moron was off of the road for a short period of time.

And whats crazy is he just got the thing back from the body shop 19 days before this happend.He also called that body shop the day of the accident he had with me complaining about his brakes not working right.He is having it repaired at the chevy dealer body shop and i use to work there so ill get a total on the damage to his vehicle just for my own entertainment.He seemed like a decent guy and im just glad he had ins.

I see idiots swerving all over the road because they are texting all the time...pisses me off. I usually giv'em a good ol honk of the train horns. ):h

Glad it didn't do any damage to the truck it'self....probably would have with a stock bumper.
