I guess my son texting me the photo of the Ghetto Moto Metal wheels motivated me. Picked up the following sets of Alcoa wheels and tires for $500:
The second set of wheels will be split between us for spares, etc. One set has Cooper AT load range E with near full tread life (left side of the photo), the others have Goodyear Wranglers load range C with about 1/2 tread life. Between them I have about 60K miles, this after the estimated 15K on the existing tires on the '99.
