time to stump some people

including myself as ya'll know i have had some problems with truck since turkey day. oil cooler lines, over filled crank case, and gauge shows no oil pressure. Now new thing the engine makes a pumping noise while running. this noise is coming from the front side near turbo check turbo it is good. so what is this weird pump that i hear. this is all cause of the damn oil cooler lines coming off. I have not drove the truck since i replaced the lines and lost pressure. I noticed the the sound while i was checking the oil pump. just used the boost gauge in the window as i was not driving. just an update what could the noise be bearings shot?? and the cam is loping? thanks ya'll Jerry

Noise maker in that location sounds like vacuum pump. The way to test that is remove belt driving it. If noise goes away it's the pump.

that pump been long gone from my truck i will try to get a vid of the noise on sunday when i get back to the truck

X2 but should not have any correlation to oil pressure loss, hopefully a coincicence, unless, loss of oil allowed the crank to break and as it turns the broken area is clanking, some 6.5 ers have reported broken cranks in still running engines.

Ever get the oil pressure verified? I know it's a PITA but I would be dropping the pan if it were mine.

i am going to be dropping the pan on sunday afternoon to see if and what i did I dont want to have to rebuild it. Not unless you want to drive through Ga to Sc to help with the project and supervise me and two other :dr: ):h thanks for all your help dude
