Can someone explain roughly how timbrens work on a Torsionbar upper/lower control arm setup?

Never gave em much thought before, but now that my truck is shaping up all around, And my plow is extremeely heavy being welded a bunch, figure i'll explore suspension options. Thanks.

I hopped on their webpage because I was curious as well, they have the installation instructions available for download here. I downloaded the manual for GMFK25S. It looks like it just replaces the lower control arm bump stop with their product.

Matt. That's pretty much exactly how they work. They replace the bump stops. A few applications are different but same basic principle. Rubber "Spring" That contacts before your suspension bottoms out. Had A set in the back of my 00 F150. They work great if you are consistently carrying weight and don't want the maintenance and sway that air bags can produce. And A fair chunk cheaper. Good luck in your hunt.
Rhino.

So they sound perfect for carrying the weight of my plow then. So they take the load, preventing the squat, then the suspensino still carries it all?

If your gonna plow you need them on the front. GM is soft and I added a 1000lb plow and nearly puked to see it drop so much. but added them and plowed all winter.

I do plow, and my plow also weighs over 1000lb.

Does anyone have pictures of these installed?

I use to install them quite often for customers when i worked for Action truck caps. Most of them were plow trucks and they couldn't be happier. I know some people used them to gain a little bit of static lift because the control arm rests on it and raises it a little like a torsion crank. I think my coworker got about 1" in his Ford Ranger, which he wanted to clear slightly bigger tires.

I'd only use it to help hold weight in the front of a truck, so it would work well for the price for what you want it to do. I'd have no problem putting them on any truck.
