When replacing the throttle pedal on my '95 will I have to recalibrate it? If so does anyone know if there is a procedure in the forum somewhere here that some one else my have explained this already, and direct me too it please.

Thanx, never dealt with so much wiring in my life until I bought my Tahoe. Some one that owned it before me hacked up the wiring, fixing it all ( the right way) before I find myself on the side of the hyway with a pissed off spouse.

As long as its not in a Toyota, you should be all set!
GO TOYOTA GO!!! I LOVE IT!

plug and play. Dealer service department will tell you otherwise, though. They'll tell you they have to "calibrate it" - then you can ask them how they do so. I am pretty sure it pays 1 hr labor at a GM dealership, but I have no idea what they do for 56 minutes of the hour.

Have you fully concluded you need a new one, sometimes you can open the old one up and clean the contacts/wiper and it's good for go.

Got another one before I take this one apart, I've busted things trying to take them apart before, so I usually get a backup before I take things apart, that way I still have my sanity, and I can do it on the weekend when every good parts dealer is closed, where I live.
