So i think im going to go out and get some Auto Meter Ultra Lites gauges for my truck. boost, pyro, and fuel pressure. im going to get the boost bolt and the part you put on the filter manager to read fuel pressure but what else do i need to get this stuff installed?

for the Fuel pressure gauge it says i need #4 braided hose and an isolator. is an isolator nesscery because its 100 bucks and the one i was looking at wasnt even rated for diesel. anything else i need to run a fuel pressure gauge?

for the pyro gauge it says it comes with 8ft wiring harness or tubing and also comes with the thermocouple. anything else i need to run this beside those things and die and tap?

for the boost gauge it says it comes with 6 ft nylon tubing, 1/8 and 1/4 NPT fittings. anything else i need to run this besides boost bolt and these things?

i also want to get the gauges to light up with the interior lights. how should i wire that up? thanks for the help guys.

Looks obvious, but a piece of 6 conductors wire should help in wiring your sensor harness to the gauge pod or pillar.
Your fuel gauge is mechanical one, an isolator is really a good thing to worry about, though, you can start without and upgrade ASAP.
If you"re willing to tap for the pyro, you don't need anything more.
Myself, I choosed to install the probe at the X-over, pre-turbo, so I had to fab a bracket with a hose clamp on which I welded a bung : drill the X-over pipe, install the clamp, bolt the probe, and voila!
Other than that, it seems you get everything

I had some cusom gauges made up for me. They are a dual electric gauge meaning one gauge takes two readings at the same time. It helps decluter the A pillar OR gives you another spot to run another gauge :smile5:. Westach.com made them up for me. I am a distributor for them and can get any gauges or parts from them. Below is a picture of the Turbo boost and I/P fuel pressure in one guage. The boost side has a little "turbo" logo and the fuel pressure side has I/P. It costs $105 w/out the sending units The light kit is $6.00. I am using the stewart warner sending units cause they work just fine and do cost less. I can get the sending units from Westach if you would like those.
With a dual gauge you can save money over buying two separate gauges. Also, you do not need the Isolator with an electric gauge.
I know the electric Stewart Warner guages start around $89.00
One draw back is they have a 6 week lead time in making the gauge. Thay actually build them as ordered.
FWIW: The guy that started up Westach is the brother of the founder of Autometer.
Westach has a one year warranty.

This is for my Veg oil system. It is oil temp gauge. Temp starts at 50* up to 220. Gives a very meaningfull sweep to the gauge.

This is another dual gauge for both fuel pressures OIL and DIESEL. I plan to use this gauge for prefilter PSI, but could be used anywere in the system. Sorry about picture. DSL on right and OIL on left of gauge face.

Edit: All 4 of these pressure gauges are 0-15 psi. Perfect for our needs. With 3 dual gauges it would be like having 6!! regular gauges, but in the space of 3.

The chief aircraft gauges are pretty decent too. They also sell the Stewart Warner senders. Just fuel pressure is $35, plus the $35 sender, and it has a full a 2/3 sweep which is nice. But they dont mount the same.

After trying out a couple cheapo electric that didnt work below 10psi as advertised I was tempted to go electric autometer, but $200 for a gauge is crazy. I like thier blue ones though that match my aftermarket stereo.

You should also get a trans temp gauge. The 4L80E is known to run hot.

When i did the pillar gauges in my '93, i used the Stewart Warner set with pyro, trans temp and boost. I've had those for about 2 years, very happy with them. I wouldn't run the fuel line anywhere in the passenger compartment, the isolator is a must IMO. Every racing organization in the world outlaws that for good reason. In case of an accident or line failure last thing you want is fuel spraying on you.
