I am Steve Mac aka: SMac from NorCal, just want to say thanks to all the active members here, for taking the time & interest, in helping other people with Their Diesel Trucks! I have just recently taken on a project for a friend (94 6.5TD C3500 GMC) and the information contained within the forum here. Has enabled me to to accurately diagnose what was wrong with the engine in this truck, as well as, sources for parts, the information you guys have posted, allowed me to perform the repairs! I have been a mechanic for many years, and like many, haven't had my hands on many diesels. You guys are a first class group! BTW, this GMC was parked for 3 years. It had 2 cracked heads, 2 bad blow plugs, and a weak injector. I am just installing the "new" heads tonite. We also bought a new set of injectors (balance tested) New Glow Plugs, New Head Bolts, Gaskets, Fuel & Oil filters. I hope to fire it up tomorrow. Thanks Again! SMac
