94 3500HD 6.5 w/auto. I just replaced my wp, t-stat with dual, and fan (cooling upgrade from S&S). When I started the engine to check for leaks, the sending unit was up plugged. When I plugged it in with the engine running, the engine idled down, like an auto choke was released. What is going on? Thanks.

when you plugged it in the ecm thought the engine was warmer and thus a slower idle. unplugged the ecm thinks it's -40

Thanks, just did not make walking around sense to me, now it does. Hard to accept the truck is smater than me!!
