Ted Trucks engine update.

Well I received my engine from Ted's Trucks (TT) and was very impressed with the crating and engine itself:thumbsup:. The compression readings were in the well under the plastic wrap and if correct were looking really good, 535 to 545 on all cylinders. We pulled the valve covers and pan and wondered if the engine was ever run, talk about clean :hihi:. I have one question for you guys who know, the block # is 12555506 and if I wrote it correctly 1218P3 is the date code, can someone translate this for me? I'll let you know how it runs by next week, Thanks for your help guys!

P is 2005, I believe. Mines N, which is 2004. They skipped O because it looks too much like a 0, so P would be 2005. I think.
