I have a question regarding Top Dead Center Offset. I was scanning with an OTC Genesis, last weekend, and I did KOKO procedure multiple times. I got a different value almost every time! I was wondering if this was because of a mechanical problem (ex. timing chain), or something I was doing wrong. I always waited for my engine temp to be 186*, but I did not account for my IAT. -1.3 came up 2 times, but had -1.1 to -1.7 readings. I finally got the -1.5 I was looking for. Any information will be helpful! Thank you

When you have the pump in a fixed position it allows you to have a range to choose from. If it didn't you would have to move the pump to make very fine adjustments
