I need to put a sway bar link kit on the 94 dually.
Where & what is the best to buy?
I can go now to the dealer and pick them up but I think I might do better than OEM parts here.
Thanks

Last time I was in autozone they had a bunch of sway bar parts, energy suspension I think, in one of the isle's. Just match on up and install it.

I put in the Hellwig parts. They fit well and were fairly easy to install. They appear to work quite well. That said, they seem to have some quality control issues. I had to order two separate orders in order to actually get all the right parts and components. They had the wrong sway bar in the box, and then the next box had insufficient parts (grommets, etc.) I ended up running back to the auto parts store and cannibalizing the 1st box to get all the required parts to install. So, be forewarned.

Talked to Autozone they said they only had the cheap kits with rubber bushings at any store within 50 miles.

The Nappa in Watseka has a kit with the blue bushings. Are those good?
They sound like they would be better than the OEM black rubbers.

I will be buying something first thing in the morning.

I am only familiar with the white /UHMW? style.

On the minivan, I purchased Addco swaybars. It was a quality kit. I can vouch for them. Plus, when I needed some parts, they sent them for free, even after a year of ownership. I would stay with urethane bushings - much better than rubber for swaybar applications.

Also, take into account that you might need to disconnect the swaybar if you go offroad a lot. Might want to think about that. Some places make easily detachable end links.

LOL, I don't offroad much in the crew cab Dually. At least not on purpose. Might scatter the tools in the gang box a little.
The Tahoe might be another story.

Wow. Sorry, I forgot to look at the application. It's like going offroad with the 'burb. More likely to get high-centered in San Francisco than to be willingly off-roading in that thing...

i agree with the urethane bushings, they look good and they are perfect for sway bar links. bought mine online, it was an aftermarket but comparing it to the oem offered by my dealer, i can say that the aftermarket are far better.

I have the Moog blue bushing links on my Bonneville, and they tightened up the handling significantly.

I got mine at Advance, but remember they're for my Bonneville, not a truck. Might wanna look at Rock Auto.
