Does anybody know how to change out the starter on an LT 80? This is now my youngest daughters quad. It has been through all 4 of my kids. It is starting to show its age. I just rebuilt the top end. It runs great again, but the little starter is going south. I looked at it the other day and can not get it out. I think this was where suzuki started to build the quad. No matter what I do it will not come out. I can get it out of its mounted home, but out from between the cases. I will hate to have to completly disassemble the engine to get it out. help me please!

Your best bet is to get a service manual. They tell you how to disassemble/reassemble step by step.

I searched for a clymer manual on yours but I don't think they make one. Try contacting your local dealer for a factory one or maybe just talk to the service guy and he could give you some pointers.
