Anyone know if a stronger Windshield washer pump is available beside the what's in a 98 model?

My pump works fine, I would just like a bit more "umpfhh" to shove a bit more from my heated washer unit on a squirt.

Maybe my pump is just old.

It seems to spray, gag a bit and spray again. Reaches all the way up the windshield, but it's just a p!$$ off when it sprays then trails off an then shoots full force again.

I don't remember my 89 spraying like that....

The newer wiper boards pulse teh washer pump squirts now is what causes this. I know my stock 95 sprayed a solid stream al lthe time I held teh washer button, but the replacement board they put in under the recall pulses the spray pattern now like you describe. If your nozzles are open, I cant imagine a need for a stronger pump. Mine sprays almost all the way up to the roof as is.

Ah, that's what I'm seeing then. It's the pulse.

I thought maybe the pump was going but it will spray just fine when it does spray.

Just does that bloody pulse thing......I though maybe it was breaking down.

I don't like it but am probably stuck with it...
