I was replacing my condenser and the nut fitting fused to the aluminum thread fitting on the condenser and now the nut fitting is gummed up w/ aluminum. There is not getting a tap in there because the nut slides over an aluminum stem that fits into the condenser and then the nut holds it into place. I have been trying to dig it out with a pick but it's slow going and its basically welded in there.

Anyone have any advice?

Yep, but you're not gonna like it. Whichever mating part gave up the aluminum will need to be replaced.

The part that gave up the aluminum was the a/c condenser fitting, which I was replacing so that isn't the problem. The problem is the nut has the aluminum in its threads and I'm having a heck of a time getting them out.

Put it in a pot of water with the nipple part in water, and heat the steel and when it is good & hot, let the steel drop in the water, the sudden cooling will loosen the aluminum from the steel... as long as you don't twist or heat the aluminum directly it will be fine....
