This is the 1st 6.5TD I have worked on with a DB2. What gives with that weird looking inj line ? Is that factory ? I have had plenty of DB2's on 6.2s and never saw that. This truck is Godsmacks' truck. it's a mess. we have alot of cleaning up to do. I tapped it for gauges and am getting ready for a TM install tommorow. wiring is badly butchered . The engine and truck is missing bolts everywhere. Lot's to do but a nice truck over all. There was oil all over the intake and looked like it was coming from the gasket that selas the upper intake...well the PO stripped two of the upper intake bolts trying to use american thread. I had to use helicoils. All back together. he needs a turbo to intake support if anyone has one for sale PM me.

It looks like it could be an after market line, it's definitely different.

The bracket would be easy to make, either a piece of flat bar with the holes drilled or take a piece of pipe and squish the end in a vise or beat flat with a BFH and drill the holes.

That aint factory Kenny. Looks like some kind of adapter? And from the sound of the way this PO liked to do things I'll bet there is plenty more from that came from. Which truck is this?

That is a factory injection line. It is a pulse adapter for a GM or snap on timing tool. My 92 and 93s have them as did my 91 6.2.

I see you are keeping busy, Ken... There are a lot of extra bolts on these trucks, don't ya know... just ask the guys at Lee's auto ranch...
